The aim of the qualification is to enhance learners’ coaching, consulting, and facilitation in the areas of business, governance and administration by developing knowledge and skills in organization leadership and development. The qualification provides learners with an understanding of the fundamental concepts and technologies in organization leadership and development. The qualification also aims to inculcate organization leadership and development values and attitudes among learners and OD professionals. Based on Systems Thinking, the qualification also aims to enhance analytical and diagnostic skills for effective decision making. Learners should be able to summarize and synthesize concepts in organization leadership and development. The qualification also helps learners to master technologies and organization development interventions for organization effectiveness. Learners should develop knowledge and skills to translate organization development strategies into action. Upon successful completion of the 12 months programme, learners will be Certified as Organization Leadership and Development Consultants (COLDC).
Successful completion of a CILG Diploma in Leadership and Governance or any recognized Diploma in relevant discipline plus 5 Year post qualification experience in a relevant field. Holders of Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in other courses with a Minimum of 7 years qualification experience can apply.
